The new chair is very comfortable which is kind of surprising for the price. We chose this one because we have a kitten that destroyed our last chair. The only problem she can't lay on the top. We are just hoping that the chair lasts only time will tell.

Overall-- good quality chair! Hard to beat such an amazing value for the price (on sale). It beats sitting on a step stool (which I was doing for a few days prior to receiving the chair) for sure. Only qualms: no significant lumbar support the arm rests do not adjust and relatively flimsy front lip so I have a slight tendency to slide forward while sitting which requires occasional re-positioning in the chair. Otherwise I'd highly recommend this chair for everyday use.
