This is my 2nd Union & Scale mesh back chair and I love them. My 1st was for my office and was grey but this 2nd one is teal colored and is in another area of the home where I work on projects. they're comfortable attractive and easy to raise up and down depending on what type of work you're doing.

The chair is of solid construction. It appears to be good materials--though they gave it a warranty in case of tears in the material in future. The back of the chair seems to be made of that mesh material that lines swimsuits but slightly thicker/rougher. It has a comfortable width in the chair base. The placement of the handle to raise and lower the chair is slightly awkward being behind the arm rest area. But this is a minor issue. The one reason I gave the chair 4 stars was the way the chair was put together. I did it myself and at my age it was pretty difficult to screw in the base bolts. They did provide a very large allen wrench to help. But you needed strength to really get them all the way down to a tight fit. Lastly the main post that goes into the base is just dropped into place. There didn't seem to be anyway to secure it. So I somewhat fear picking this chair up might cause the wheel base to just fall off. We shall see.

I have a neck injury and chronic pain. Im also very short so trying to find a good supportive chair is almost impossible. I sat in every chair in every store and this one is perfect. Its my Goldilocks chair and I can sit in it for hours comfortably. And the best part was it's reasonably priced and was on sale! Highly recommend!
