The squeaking is unbearable

Ordered this 6 months ago. 160 lbs Chair gets moderate use as I WFH 3 days a week. The squeaking is so bad I have to stand up to take work calls in case I accidentally flinch or cough and ya know exhale. Airpods will magnify the sound to 'nails on a blackboard' or so said a client today. I've disassembled it twice tried loosening and tightening the screws that attach the seat to the base thing but no luck. The chair is also about as comfortable as sitting on concrete.

I bought this chair because I had a low budget and it does very nice for the price point. Comfortable. It lacks the ability to make many of the adjustments to the more expensive ergonomic chairs so you get what you pay for.
