i bought this chair to replace the old one in my music practice space. I learn and practice songs on guitar while sitting at my computer desk and this chair is perfect for that. Although I did not install the arms because they would interfere with the guitars the seat is very comfortable and the back provides plenty of support. It rolls smoothly even on my carpeted floor and it is very quiet unlike my old chair that was creaky-squeaky every time I moved. For under a hundred bucks this is a solid value!!
