At first I dreaded opening the box. Assembly required. Surprisingly it took only an hour. Much faster than any IKEA product! Very comfortable. Just what I needed for working from home.

A lot of chairs only have height adjustment. This chair also has a "back lock" where you can lock the back in place at a certain angle. This is absolutely necessary for my comfort. I've been using the chair for a couple of weeks and everything is still working fine. Also no additional tools required for assembly which is a plus. I'm really short so I didn't put the arms on. I can't say for sure but it looks like they are not adjustable. For me that doesn't matter though. Seat is solid and I feel totally comfortable on it with no arms.

Super easy chair to assemble but uncomfortable to sit in

This chair's assembly instructions were amazingly well written (I found only one minor typo) and all the parts were clearly labeled. It took about 25 minutes from opening the box to achieving the finished product. If only the seat were more substantially padded. The chair unfortunately is not comfortable to sit in for any extended period of time. The hard plastic base is easily felt because the padding atop it is so skimpy. Better to pay a higher price for a different chair that can be used for long hours of working from home.
