About 5 years ago I bought a Steelchase chair to replace an aging one. That chair cost about $500 and was never comfortable not like the old one. This year I bought this chair on sale for about $90. It is so much better than that expensive chair when it comes to comfort and look. Easy to assemble great chair!

We needed a chair for a rarely-used position and didn’t want to spend a lot of money on it. This chair will hopefully fit the need. It is designed to be a low-cost light duty chair so we can’t expect too much from it. It assembled quickly and easily and it works as we had hoped. Now it just needs to last - to endure. The salesman was absolutely excellent; very helpful and thorough.

The chair does not tilt back even though there's a tension adjustment on it. Info in the store did not reveal the no-tilt feature so I was surprised to find this out only after I assembled the chair and researched it on the internet.

I bought this chair based on the recommendation from a 2025 Wired article on the 14 best office chairs. It was easy to put together and I like that it has a proper cushion instead of mesh. You don't need to pay hundreds of dollars for a decent chair.
