So easy to set up

I was debating about whether to pay Staples $20 for assembly and decided to try it myself. Easiest assembly you could ask for; all of the parts are clearly labeled all of the screws and other parts were actually in the box and the only tool you will need is an Allen wrench which they include. Direction booklet is very straightforward and easy to understand. Total assembly time including unpacking and reading the instruction booklet is under 30 minutes (and I'm an octogenarian). You do need a little arm and wrist strength but if I can do it I think anyone can. My advice is to sit the seat cushion on a 12-15" table so you have room to attach the arms etc. Can't comment on the durability of this product since I just got it but wanted to comment on the favorable assembly experience.

Children are happy with chair for remote schooling - not the best for a full-time adult

Two of my children (10 & 12) are using this chair for remote schooling (5-6 hours a day for 3-days-a-week and 2-hours a day for 2-days-a-week). They both like it. Previously they were using wooden desk chairs which were not comfortable enough given the amount of time they were spending at their desks. They both removed the armrests to allow the chair to better fit under their desks. I did try it at my desk and it did not have enough padding on it for an adult using it for a full day; however I did love the back support. In the Staples store display it did mention that the Union & Scale was not for a full-day use. I did not see any recommendations on hours-per-day in the online description for the chair.
