I was able to assemble the chair with moderate but not overwhelming effort. Extra care should be taken when attaching the seatback with the 4 screws at the rear of the left and right arm rests. They fit although they might not appear to at first. The Rutherford is an excellent model that all Staples units should display. It's uses space efficiently is designed to provide a good anatomical fit right up to the back of the neck and is very comfortable. The only reservation I had was that on the store display piece the surface material and thread showed signs of wear but not enough to deter me from making a purchase. From my observation it beat all the other display models hands down. (And I only saw it in 1 of the 2 stores I visited). Congratulations on marketing this very good item.
The chair looks good and is comfortable to sit in. I have neck pain if I sit at the computer too long so it helps that the back is tall with a headrest. It's a heavy chair but I managed to assemble it myself.
