After two months the piston failed dropping the chair to the bottom. The arm rests flattened. Worse the seat cushion is also now bottoming out. The chair was wonderfully comfortable for a couple of weeks before showing its true colors. This is a show room beauty and no work horse.

The assembly went well until we attempted to attach the supporting arms to the seat and back. the holes in the arms did not align with those in the back and one side of the seat. Through much effort we were able to get the bolts fully engaged on one side but not the other to either the seat or the back. We were able to partially engage one bolt and fully engage one bolt in the connections for both the back and seat on the other side. Needless to say the assembly process became extremely frustrating and we still do not have full engagement or the bolts on one arm rest bracket. It is our opinion that the quality control for this product is not good. Any suggestions for obtaining full engagement of the two partially engaged bolts would be appreciated. Will there be a problem with the assembled product without this full engagement?

I bought two of these on a whim to put in my studio. I had some trouble putting together the first one because the instructions just show pictures and don't actually give instructions to not screw the arms in all the way until the end. With that knowledge I managed to put the second one together rather quickly - and let me tell you that first sit in this chair is just awesome. Of course I had to adjust the height to the lowest setting because on the biggest one I was sitting there with my feet dangling like a little kid. Even still when I tilt back my feet don't touch the floor. The cushioning is the perfect level of firmness and I look forward to putting a Homer Simpson-esque butt groove in mine. Also kudos to Staples - I ordered these less than 24 hours ago for delivery and they've gotten here and I've assembled them already. That's impressive!
