The quality of the chair leaves a lot to be desired. Couple of issues we faced: 1. The screw holes in the arms were not aligned causing an imperfect assembly. 2. The lock / free lever doesn't function as designed. The chair still leans back after locking it in position. 3. The length of screws provided for the assembly was not designed keeping the ease of assembly in mind. For joints on the arms and backrest the holes provided were way inwards making it difficult to put the screws in place and assemble.
Needed a new office chair for my home/office. The Rutherford has a high back with some lumbar support. The price for comparable chairs was 2 to 3 times more. Definitely a good deal.
