My butt and lower back are supported in this chair. The price is reasonable and the product is very well made. I was sitting on other chairs that were not as supportive and I was hurting a great deal. In this chair I have sat in it for 9 hours and don't hurt afterwards.

Sat in a $300 chair at Staples - it was REALLY comfortable. Tried a $200 chair that was very comfortable. Sat in a $89 chair that wasn't very comfortable. Sat In the $99 on sale Rutherford - it was pretty comfortable; so I went with the Rutherford. Hope this helps.
