Its a solid stable chair I don't foresee mechanical issues as it doesn't have any moving parts. There are some design changes I would suggest: The screws that hold the arm cushion on can be felt through the arm cushion. The angling of the back could have better lumbar support. This chair really does not want to move when on carpet (put furniture sliders under the feet to fix) add some notation to that on the marketing as there is a market for chairs that are immobilized.
