I needed a good chair with some back support but didn't want a heavy leather chair. This one is great.

I had been looking for a replacement for an old chair I had inherited. I especially like the mesh back with the summer heat. It took me a few days to get used to the new fit and feel but I'm glad I stumbled upon this as the supply was running out.

Not that comfortable/seat can't be tilted properly

The seat cushion is OK but can see it sinking as it's Not that cushiony. The armrests are Not adjustable but fixed. Mesh back with lumbar support design is OK. The tilt knob under the seat is basically USELESS! The seat cushion does NOT Tilt forward or backwards for comfort so you're actually sitting more forward! For a basic chair it's OK! PAY MORE for a better chair in which you can make adjustments to the chair like the hand rests and seat cushion tilting! Do NOT skimp on paying for Better quality items!

I wish I'd been able to go to the closest Staples (about 120 miles away or so) and try this out first. The seat is a little small and there's just the slightest tilt toward the front so I feel like I'm in danger of sliding off all day. It's too bad the tilt function can't lock while you rock back a bit... that would probably take care of that. Also the seat cushion gets a bit flat by mid-afternoon so the chair begins to feel just about as hard as my old worn out chair has become. It was pretty easy to put together although my 60 year old hands did have a little challenge getting the casters clicked into place.

The Union and Scale adjustable office chair is very comfortable and relatively light weight. I did not install the arms which gives it a sleek simple profile. Love the appearance.
