Without reading directions it took me 15 minutes to put the chair together. I'd recommend that you read the directions to make sure you're doing the right thing with the right pieces BUT it is fairly simple! Once it was assembled it felt sturdy and comfy

The Mcallum Bonded Leather Manager Chair is very comfortable and easy to adjust. Good for a short small framed person. However this isn’t for a person not too steady on their feet even on carpet. (That’s how nice it rolls.) Cannot use the chair without the wheels due to the post sticking out further than the base. That being said I would still recommend this chair.
