hubby was 1 week post op from major spine surgery and therefore unable to assemble this chair (which I knew when I ordered it). That being said I was able to assemble it myself without any difficulty whatsoever!! He sat in recliner and watched in case I needed verbal guidance which I did not as the directions were very clear. This chair is super comfortable and very well made for such a good price!

The lever to raise and lower the seat are hard to reach when the chair is all the way down. Also the tilt knob doesn't do much at all.
