I tried my best to be grateful. I lost my religion on this one. Had a similar model 15 years ago that was markedly better. If you buy this assemble everything on the floor or other surface first. Attach the arms and back to the seat first. The screws go into metal rods in the back not the seat itself. Let those guide you. Do not attach the plastic covering over the screws becuase you will need to access the screws later to tighten. I off-gassed this for 5 days out in the yard and the plastics are intolerable still. Opt tfor quality used chair or pay much more for real materials less plastic. I will be buying from a used furniture store where I hope to find something more natural. This is not the chair of yore as virtually everything affordable these days is cheap and toxic.
