The chair is well made probably the better made of the Staples chairs I've owned over the years however there is a tendency to slide forward in this chair. For work typing etc. it's fine but sit back and read and one may find themselves heading toward the floor. Previous chairs I've owned had a bucket-like seating bottom and a higher cushion of padding the the bend of the knee. This chair however doesn't have that and slopes forward. Once again probably ergonomically correct for typing but that's not all I use my home office for. It's annoying.
Overall the chair is fine. Comfortable but even at $150+ you get what you pay for. Even when you lock it to keep it from leaving back there is a decent amount of play. Almost feels like all of the parts are flexing to keep the chair together. Probably wouldn’t buy it again but not going to return it. All screws were tightened equally but you can see the fitment isn’t really that good.
The chair is comfortable but the bonded leather surface WILL peel and shred eventually just like the last one. I knew what is was when I bought it so it's not like I got fooled it was just the right choice for moment. If you want a more durable chair look for either the mesh chairs or heavy leather/faux leather surfaces. But this was a fair price for a particular use.
I love this chair. Some chairs I have had in the past did not adjust high enough for me. This one adjusts high enough but it also adjusts lower if you need that. It is very comfortable. It supports my back very well.
Very comfortable chair. I sit on this chair for hours as I do remote learning classes. I never get a sore bottom. I only gave it 4 stars because of the quality. Every time I move in it the chair creaks. Noise comes from where the arm rests are screwed into the side of the sitting cushion.
Service was great. Salesman came out and helped us pick out the office chair and offered to put it together and also an extended warranty. Took it out to the car for me. Great Job in this day and age.
