For the price this is one of the best chairs I've bought. It is a bit larger than the chair it is replacing (that's a positive!) and is VERY comfortable. Granted it doesn't get a lot of use... this is for a desk in a sitting room that doesn't get a lot of "sitting"... but when it DOES get used it's quite comfortable.

The chair this replaced served me nearly 20yrs and cost me much less money. Even though this McAllum Manager Chair is more comfortable and has the strongest plastic base I've seen it clearly is not built to last that long - the plywood seat and arm rest mounts are weak. Also the supplied casters will destroy any floor surface you put it on so a chair mat or upgraded casters will be necessary. I've seen worse. Buy it when it is steeply discounted and it will be a very nice purchase.

I like this chair right out of the box but I don't love it. At least not yet. A fifth star will depend upon how it wears in. Right now the cushioning is very firm and the leather is very slippery. I've leaned forward and nearly slid off of it.

Bought two of these chairs for our office. They are very comfortable although slightly large for our office space. Assembly was fairly straight forward. One arm rest had a broken attachment holding on the leather arm. I contacted Customer Support and they immediately shipped out a replacement. Great service. Overall a very nice chair for the price.

its a nice chair but not worth the price.the plastic arm rest support the back and when you sit back the arm rest bend feeling like they are going to break.if your over 200lbs this is not the chair for you.
