This chair is really nice. I had an antique chair for my home office and really did not want to buy a "new" chair. But the price was excellent and because it's all black (no mesh) it does look pretty good even though all of my office furniture is antique. It's very comfortable and moves easily. This is a great chair for any home office.
This Westcliffe chair seems to be made well. So far in the first week it seems to be holding up well however I had to make one adjustment right from the get-go. It needed the front of the seat. Portion tilted back more in its neutral position even before you sit in it. This is because I sat too far forward like it was going to throw me out of the chair. Also it is too L- shaped. The back needs to be one or two more degrees tilted back from the bottom seat part which it is not so I strain to sit in it for long periods. it’s a comfortable seat when I first sit down but only to a point. It’s not shaped like my body. Unfortunately the model that was was returned to Staples due to being defective. It was an entirely different chair. I may have to return this one as well because my lower back is not digging it.
I love this chair and love staples especially for Office Chairs. If you want to physically see the chair Staples is the best place. I can see more than 25 chairs in display. Other stores keep 1 or 2 chairs in display
Being somewhat handicapped I should have 'tried out' the chair before having my friend bring it home. I would have been helpful if an instruction book had come with it.
This chair will only go so low so a person 5'1" this chair leaves the legs dangling. Not a bad chair other than that. Sits comfortably but had to find a way to put legs up to keep legs from going numb.
