Generally just fine but the seatback should be more vertical for a desk chair. This isn't an issue of the reclining feature its the angle between the seat and seatback. Feels a bit like a lounge chair but generally suitable.

Assembly was difficult because the holes for the Bolts for the bottom were not lined up properly. We had to use a drill to relocate the holes so we could finish the assembly.
