Daughter is tall purchased a cafe style table to use as a desk instead a standard desk. We were looking for the right chair at the right price and this is it. Works great with that hight table/desk and is comfortable enough to do several hours of classwork at a time without getting uncomfortable.
This is mostly my fault but the chair is too tall for me. I was under the assumption that it went as low as the height of a regular desk chair but it doesn’t. I’m 5’1” so this chair is massive for me. The seat is more comfortable than my current chair but the minimum height just doesn’t work for me.
Got this for a backup as I get used to my standing desk again. The seat itself is comfortable enough ... when you can finally get into it. The step ring is weakly clamped to the base and tilts when you step up on it to get into the chair. Which makes the high seat position difficult to get into easily. It's also very thin which makes it rather painful to use unless you are wearing thick-soled shoes. I'm grateful that I'm using it on a carpeted floor because it only moves a couple of inches while I'm climbing into the chair. I'm sure that if it was on wood or tile it'd roll a good way from where I started before I was finally seated. On balance the chair is worth the price. But it leaves a bit to be desired for a daily high-seated task chair.
Purchased to provide counter high seating for food prep in a kitchen. Viewed in the store appeared ideal but the seat back was not adjustable resulting in "short" seat length. Height adjustment range was not quite great as it needed to be.
