Comfortable and exactly what I was expecting. Assembly instructions were very easy and clear. Did not install the arm rests so that the chair could easily slide under my computer desk without lowering the seat bottom. This chair replaced the 10-year old office chair that lost pressure in the lifting cylinder. We transferred the roller-blade style wheels we had on the old chair that protected our hardwood floors to the new chair and we're back in business!

This office chair is adequate for the price point. The seat cushion is comfortable. Arm rests are un-padded hard plastic. Will need to purchase plastic carpet protector as wheels do not move well directly on carpet.
