The arm rests are solid plastic no plush material of any kind. Seat cushion is good for the Mrs. But def not for me being a massive handsome beast of a man. Perfect for a temp solution or a lighter human.

Mostly happy don't like the recline would prefer to have the pivot at the base of the back instead of the center of the seat. Also would be nice to have adjustable width arms but not bad for the price.
