Hard plastic arms not suitable for all-day use

It is hard to tell from the photos but the chair has hard plastic arms -- not padded in any way--that would be uncomfortable for all-day use in a home office. I returned the chair.

This chair is comfortable and affordable. I was a bit disappointed that the felt under the chair was a bit torn and there were some scratches and gouges on the side back panel of it. But as this chair was purchased for my son and he did not seem to mind I let it go! He reports that it is super comfy even after spending long periods in it doing schoolwork and gaming.
