Great Little Jeep

We received this as a gift so we weren't sure what we were getting until it was assembled. The instructions can be a little difficult to interpret and a tad vague as they were translated in China but my husband is pretty savvy about assembling these toys and with cars in general. The instructions could use a little more detail about what goes where and it was confusing to have a few bolts that were slightly different sizes. We had a couple left over which was disconcerting at first but after double checking everything we found they were spares.
We followed the instructions on charging the battery (must charge for 12 hours before first use) and at first it seemed as if the battery wasn't good. My husband tested it, checked that all wires were connected where they should be (he had to attach one that came loose), and the voltage didn't read very high. But sure enough, the next morning, our daughter was able to turn it on.
The jeep handles well and has managed some bumpy terrain as well as sudden jerking of the steering wheel. The speed is a good pace to quick walk behind your child driving. There is no brake, child just has to let up on the gas to stop. The reverse option is also a nice touch.
Another bonus is the radio! We can actually tune it to real radio stations (with static of course) or better yet, we took an old iPhone and downloaded our daughter's playlist so now she can listen to her music as she cruises around. We hope to get lots of good use out of this jeep!

I bought this for my sons first birthday. He absolutely loves it! He can't drive it yet which is why the remote control comes in handy. We love the different speed settings and the radio! This Jeep has a lot of power and is way better than Power Wheels in our opinion. The instructions for putting it together could have been a little bit better, but my husband and I are both great at assembling things so we figured it out pretty quickly!

This Jeep is awesome! Bought it for our 18 month old, who is OBSESSED. And really, why wouldn’t he be? The horn button, the radio, the power button, the moving steering wheel - he can’t reach the gear shift or pedal yet, but that just makes it that much cooler for him - (and for us to control where he is going!) live this product. Already recommended to a friend (who bought not 1, but 2!) for their girls. Next summer is going to be amazing for our kids, riding their black and pink and red jeeps everywhere they go :)
