Better than I expected it to be

The computer worked out of the box and required little tweaks to make it better. It is true that the fan speeds needed adjustments to keep the CPU cooler than the default speeds keep them. Other than that, the fans do get a little louder when playing games in ultra settings.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am satisfied with overall performance. Specs are very good at cheaper price. Heats up to 80 degree at high resolutions for games like Warzone in auto fan mode, But doesn't affect performance, I am okay with that.

Worked perfectly out of the box, no issues. Games super fast at ultra settings. Has an app to adjust fans to cool down gaming temperatures.

While this machine may look good the video card specs indicate 650W min for it to run correctly.
This machine only has a 500w power supply.
I imagine it will run very hot and no be able to perform.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

PSU not large enough, 12V only

Owned the computer for a week, constantly crashing and going into sleep, computer runs hot, didn't even attempt to put glass side panel on. Only a 500w psu for a 3070 and 12 gen i7. Returned computer and bought a omen 45L.

I had to reset the machine to factory settings to make it work properly. From the very first day, while trying to game I encountered more than one issue like problems with graphics, drivers, firmware, and Bluetooth, in other words, it was a nightmare and a waste of time. Thankfully loos like everything works now but why not offer a product that works just fine out of the box? sigh ...

Decent if you upgrade CPU cooler.

I wouldn't recommend this desktop unless it's on a good promotion.
The specs are great and it performs well. The case is fairly small and components are cramped which means less airflow within the unit. The CPU cooler is not efficient to keep CPU temperatures down, even when all the fans speeds are increased. While gaming, I would have CPU temperatures between 90C to 100C.
I upgraded the CPU cooler and now the temperature has never exceeded 75C. (I recommend the Noctura NH-U9S as you can install it without removing the mobo).

I was also initially concerned about the 500W psu, as typically 650W are recommended for an RTX 3070. Except, Acer uses a ATX-12VO psu, which are a newer type of unit that has increased power efficiency. So in theory, 500W should be enough, but still have some skepticism. Also note that it seems impossible to upgrade the psu as this type isn't mass marketed yet and is incompatible with ATX form factor.

I’ve had my pc for a year now and it has exceeded my expectations for any game. It can easily run max ultra graphics settings without any fps loss and is a very solid pc build.
I would recommend this to a friend!
