I bought this as I have a cell phone of the same make. Great extra gadget to have, with the store being easy to use and features a number of education resources. Together with all this things, its size and easiness to use, I would (and I have) recommend this tablet.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: battery does not last as long as i would have like
I bought the red and I love the color contrast with the white Galaxy Tab 3 8". I like this cover because its light and does not add any extra weight to the tablet. The only downside is that it does not stand.
Newbie ~ still getting the hang of things, with that said. The book cover works well as slight protection and has a nice texture. Nice looking. The sides/corners could have a more rubbery edge so it will grab more to my lap as is it slips some when in standing position sitting on my jeans, prob fine on a table, (don't know thou)? Being female, I have smaller hands, it's awkward for me to hold in one hand for very long and slips. I find myself holding the bottom left hing of the cover, often changing positions. Maybe logo on the back could be rubbery for more finger grip-tion ;)
This case is great looking ,very lightweight, and the design shows off the pretty gold trim of my tablet. However, while it does make it easy to display the tablet in different positions, it is very hard to hold onto this case since the front and back surfaces are too smooth - for the price of the case, you would think it would at least have a hand strap to keep you from dropping your tablet. I really like this case, but I think it really needs easy grip surface on the back and / or a hand strap. If you only display your tablet on a flat surface, this would be a great case to get. But, if (like myself), you hold onto your tablet like a book, I would recommend that you get a fitted case with a hand strap.
