Effortless assembly. Well made & comfortable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stool was very easy to assemble and only required an Allen wrench, which was included, and a Phillips screwdriver. The enclosed leaflet provided easy to follow images. Assembly was simplified with the use of alphabetized stickers on each piece which aligned with the given illustrations. It only took approximately 30 minutes to put together. The end result was a very comfortable and sturdy stool! It appears that the wood is engineered and not solid, yet it is still strong and appealing. The fabric of the seat is grey with a hint of brown which matches our kitchen colors well. We only needed one stool to add character and practicality to our kitchen island. Our island is not one to sit at, yet this counter stool provides additional seating space when gathering in the kitchen, especially when snacks are on that island! The height of this stool was spot on for each of our family members of diverse stature. We are all fond of it and have used it various times instead of sitting at our table. The saddle-shaped seat and nailhead trim is eye-pleasing and we have received several compliments. Since we have not used it for a long period, I cannot attest to its long-term durability but I am pleased thus far!

"Average" stool -- proceed with caution

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon taking the pieces out of the box and glancing at the simple-looking directions (see photo), you might smile and think this will be super easy and fast to assemble. It was not. It actually takes two people to assemble — one to hold the pieces in place while the second uses a phillips-head screwdriver from their own toolbox. (The assembly instructions do NOT indicate a screwdriver is needed in addition to the provided allen key.)
When attaching the stool’s horizontal rungs you’ll immediately notice the screws must be dropped in at an angle. This is basically a black hole. It was frustrating the screws wouldn’t go in easily. I ended up using a drill which made the process easier and faster.
The seat itself is cushiony yet firm. The upholstery looks like a grass cloth in a neutral tan (see photo). So it could work in lots of settings. I’m using mine at a makeup vanity.
Overall I’d give the quality of materials and assemble two stars — and the completed stool three stars. Proceed with caution.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was A little hesitant when I first was taking a side of the box, but after putting it together it is very rich looking. The dark finish on it and the tacks around the edges of the seat really dress up the stool. It’s just the right height and very comfortable to sit on. I would definitely recommend purchasing these as it only took about 20 minutes for me to put together.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We LOVE our new Maven Lane Adrien Saddle Counter Stool ! Once assembled the stools are amazing! This counter stool is sturdy ,solid and classy looking! The seat is more generous than many saddle-types. The seat is concave which makes for a more comfortable seating. The paint color is neutral and the fabric is nicely textured and will work with anything.Very good quality and see like they will last a long time. I would definitely recommend.

Perfect Addition to My Vanity!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stool is so lovely! The finish blends into my dark-stained bathroom cabinets really well, and it fits perfectly in the space below my vanity. The design reminds me of the modern farmhouse vibe that is super popular right now. The materials and cushion are both super high quality. I was so excited when it was delivered, that I put it together myself and found the instructions were very simple to follow. I can't say enough good things about this stool...I love love love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an artist i was excited to try out this chair. The instructions were pretty easy to follow. I will say that you could use an extra pair of hands to help assemble and you will need additional tools. The tools provided weren’t enough to screw in the screws. Overall, i do like the stool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with this stool. Instructions were minimal but easy to follow. They say 20 minutes for 2 people but I was able to assemble myself in 20 minutes. Likely the 2 people was suggested as the assembly required using glue (which I have never seen before when putting together furniture). The stool is dressy and the legs do look a lot like wood even though made of a composite. The seat cushion is plush and the fabric is a nice true gray color. No complaints. Hopefully it hold up well.
