Love it but now it won't turn on

We bought this back in mid February and started cooking with it from the beginning. We've used it once or twice a week since then. We plugged it in the other day to use it and now it won't turn on. It doesn't give us an error code or anything. We tried several different outlets just to be sure but it won't do anything. We are really bummed because we love using it. We've owned several different ninja products and have never had an issue with any of them. This is a first but like I said, we are really bummed.

After a year is rusty

I read reviews, it seemed a great product. It worked well. But recently I noticed my chicken had black flakes, then I checked the inside and it's all rusty, so I was literally eating rust, who knows for how long. I am a very clean and cautious persons, so it's not a reason why this happened from my end.

Bad smell

I order the item, got it, read the manual, cleaned it as directed before using it. Love the way it cooks but hate the smell or my wife really hates it and wants me to only use it outdoors which defeats the purpose of having it as I could grill outside. I have used it at least 5 times and the smell is still there, why and what do I do to get rid of the order. I never read about this smell in any review online until I read a review here.

Will Break down in less than 1 year . Mark my word

I first bought this in December 2019 then it failed on November 2020 , they replaced the base unit only (refurbished) and it breaks down on October 2021 and ninja refused to honor warranty anymore. Nice looking machine but it will NOT live for 1 year. Better ones out there

Poor quality

I was gifted this product in Just over a year ago and did not use it for the first 10 months. I started using it and found the air fryer to be a nice addition to my kitchen. 3 months in and using 1x per week on average and the fryer would not turn on. Contacted the company and just got a ‘sorry it’s out of warranty’. Unfortunately- I would not suggest purchasing Ninja products to anyone.

Frustrating undocumented modifications

I returned one and the 2nd acts the same. I called support and was told that the model was modified, which changed the way it operates.The manual and website were not changed to modify how it now operates. The fryer is no longer paused when the basket is removed like every other air fryer that I have ever used. The manual should not tell us that the heater and fan will be turned off upon removing the basket when it doesn't. I wasted way too much time on this. They could have added supplemental instruction sheet.

Don’t buy it

It is useless and it stopped working. I had few different replacement already and all of them just stopped working out of no where. They started making me pay for replacement. It is useless. I even took the machine apart everything look new just won’t turn on. I believe is the computer mother board that prevent the air fryer from starting again. Is trash

I purchased this larger Ninja because I own the 4 quart Ninja Airfryer already. I truly love the four quart one. It cooks fast and is so easy to use and clean up. I tried this newer one and it cooks great as well. I guess I was expecting the basket to be a little wider and not just deeper. I was somewhat disappointed in that regards. It is the same width as the 4 quart but is much deeper so I was able to cook more chicken wings which is why I wanted the bigger one. However, it cooks just as great and cleans up fast and easy. The Ninja is definitely the best chicken wing airfryer ever. It does cook fast so be sure to check your food and shift it around in between the actual suggested cooking time.
