I found the door opening to the side, less convenient than a drop-down door and the opening is a little small

I was blessed with this washer and dryer and I am in all of the fact of to get something affordable I truly thought that I had to go with the smaller drum. To my surprise how deep this drum really is. I wash blankets I can adjust my water level which is very important to me and I love an agitator and it's so quiet. I've had absolutely no problems concerns with this washer and dryer highly recommend
