Great Kettle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this kettle. I am a tea drinker and I love instant oatmeal. This is a win win situation. It has a sleek design and easily programmable. It heats water rapidly. I can have hot water available as soon as I wake up for tea or oatmeal. I like the infuser that is easy to use and have fresh tea within minutes. The removable lid is a huge plus because it is easy to clean it. Love this kettle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this electric tea kettle. It looks incredible, very modern and a unique look on what most people think of when you say the words tea pot.
The Chefman teapot gets water heated and ready faster than my stovetop teapot. It also has preset settings for different types of tea, so whether you're a fan of the blacks, green, chai, white, etc it has something already setup for you and programmed to make your tea correctly. No more guesswork when you're making your morning tea. Use the preset and go about your day with great tea!

Very functional, but with quirks and annoyances

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been boiling water for tea on the stove for my whole life, but finally got this electric kettle. I've used it almost every day since, so it's very functional and works great, but I do have a few annoyances to share.
First, it has a case of the beeps: you cannot turn off the beeps. It beeps when you remove the pitcher, it beeps when you put it back on. It beeps when you press the buttons, it beeps when it's done. It beeps loudly, it beeps all the time. You can't turn off the beeps. I don't understand why.
It also doesn't truly turn off for an hour after being used, or being touched for that matter. The screen stays on for one hour, then shuts off. That's a really, really long time and completely unnecessary; and like the beeps, you can't change it. In fact, in the manual there's a section about it telling you it stays on for an hour, and in it it tells you to unplug it if you would like to turn it off before an hour. Whew.
Finally, a functional thing that's both annoying and dangerous. The place on the kettle where your thumb naturally migrates to is metal, and gets extremely hot. I've nearly burned my thumb several times—it's just such a weird place to put hot metal; a good design would surely insulate that part of the handle.
All that said (out of experience)—I do enjoy using it and it is very functional and boils water quickly and accurately. I continue to use it and enjoy it, despite its quirks.

Great tea

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to receive the chefman electric kettle. I love that it has a diffuser so I can seep my tea leaves directly in the kettle. Since it has its own heating source it saves me from having to turn on the stove. The different temperature settings makes it easy to get a deep seep vs a lighter one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Chefman 1.5L Digitial Electric Glass Kettle is overall a good product. I like the look of it and I love that it is a glass kettle. Some of my favorite features are the infuser, custom control panel, and timer delay.
The included infuser is so convenient for steeping loose leaf tea directly in the pot.
The custom control panel offers a variety of presets for different types of tea.
I like that the delay timer can be programmed up to 24 hours in advance.
Setup is easy and the kettle functions properly. Overall, a good working kettle.

Best Electric Kettle!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best electric kettle I've owned and used! It's quick and easy, you out your water in, fill the infuser with your tea or other flavorings, and then set your temp/time and let it go, after a few minutes you're ready to enjoy your hot beverage! The kettle looks sleek and modern too. The only negative is you can't submerse the kettle in water, so it can be a little tricky to clean, but all in all, worth it! Wrote this while sipping some nice Earl Grey tea courtesy of my kettle!
