[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this mini dash camera as a gift and it is okay not one of the better ones out there but it works well I don't like the fact that you have to buy an SD card for it. But other than that it's ok for the price.

Nice Little Camera and Versatile!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice little mini Dash Cam/Action Cam by Onn. It’s one of those little tiny square ones, and come with a windshield mount with suction cup. Super easy to install! Plug and play. It plugs into the “cigarette lighter” to charge and stay charged. It’s small enough that it mounts right up behind the rearview mirror, so it doesn’t occlude your vision while driving.
And the way it mounts, it clips on to the mount, and it clips easily so you can also use it outside of the car. You can clip it to your hat or clothing to use as an action cam, or use as a nanny cam.
It records to a micro SD card, which is included. After I did some recording, I simply removed the micro SD and downloaded the videos to my laptop. Got a good picture, with 1080 resolution, and great sound. It’s also got night vision, which I haven’t tried out yet.
The only thing I would like other than all it’s got, is a screen. But still, I like it a lot and look forward to giving it lots of use as an action cam this spring when I’m out exploring!

Nice camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this camera on my dashboard and the video recording is good. The sound is nor very clear, but it is great on a sunny day. I have not used it in the night, so can't say much about that. I like this camera because it is smaill, records video very well and there is not extra settings to tinker with. It is very easy to view the videso, just plug this into a Windows computer, open VLC and you can see the videos. What I don't like, is having the wire that sticks across the dash and into my usb port on the car. I wish they had a battery instead of a direct power source.

Great, easy to use dash cam

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great little dash camera. It is super easy to use (although it does have additional setting and features) as a dash cam. Simply attach the suction cup to your windshield, clip on the camera, and plug it into a usb power adapter. When it connects to power it starts recording. Image/video storage is based on the size of the memory card you use but the one that it came with was a good size. It will record until full and then record over the older video. This is really all you need if you are using it for a dash camera. If you are every in an accident, it should capture enough video to be useful. Before using the camera, you may want to connect it to a computer and up the date in the file called TIMEREST to make sure the captured video has the correct timestamp.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a worthy camera. It has the ability to catch a wide frame, and I love the ability to record. My biggest complaint around it is the suction cup. It doesn't quite have the strength that I was hoping for. It seems that it is one of those things that once you pick a place for it, you better be happy with it, because it won't ever work the same again.

I have been considering a mini camera for my car for some time and, so far, this has worked very well for me. I love how small and compact it is. Does not take up much space on my dash and the video quality is amazing. This appears to be a very well constructed product. Keep up the good work!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the ONN-CCC9043 Mini Action Camera with Video Recorder for my regular hikes. The quality of the footage is amazing!! So happy with this piece of technology! It’s conveniently small and easily clips onto clothing and equipment. The attachments for the dashboard components are easy to change out and use.
I’m looking forward to taking this on several adventures, including kayaking this summer! A great, easy to use piece of technology!
