Needs firmware update

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor needs firmware update clipping at 600 nits when it should be 1300 nits needs to be fixed you can even tell in games when you set it to 1300 nits it doesn't get any brighter so it is a firmware issue

Great Monitor

I have been buying LG monitors for 15+ years now. Solidly reliable. Great Performance. I have never had one go out on me. Other brands- a few years tops. I would like more customization that the other brands have but the picture is great, solid for gaming. getting 240mhz refresh. you can even watch tv. i would also say that this is close to being and VR headset if you get too close to it. Takes awhile to get used to the shear size of the screen. Very Happy i bought this.

Honestly, this is probably THE best monitor I have ever owned. I have owned this monitor for about a year now, and absolutely love it. Colors are deep and vibrant, the 240Htz refresh is amazing while playing games. It is large enough to be able to keep spec sheets open while I have fusion 360 open and designing something. Only 1 con...the curve...it reflects your voice back at you, but honestly once you put on a decent set of headphones, you can not even tell. Oh one thing I almost forgot was the connectivity, and being able to control the panel through software on your computer is nice. No more fumbling through a on screen menu using buttons or a "joy stick". Just don't forget to turn off start up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgrading to the 45GS95QE-B from a 34-inch AW34DWF has been a game-changer, literally and figuratively. Despite some concerns over the 1440p resolution at a 45" size—which typically results in a lower pixel density—the larger scale proves to be more of an asset than a hindrance.
One might expect the lower PPI to cause text and edges to appear less sharp, but in practice, it’s far from being a deal-breaker. In fact, as someone who appreciates larger text, I find that the slightly bigger letters are easier on the eyes, a welcome feature as I get older.
But where this monitor truly shines is in its gaming performance. The leap to a 240Hz refresh rate combined with OLED technology offers an unparalleled gaming experience. 45GS95QE-B+DLDSR=best gaming monitor 2024

Best format, very hyped for this. We all know PPI isn't a problem as we all use DLDSR, means this monitor will run no problem at 5120x2160.

Sleek, immersive monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this monitor for my boyfriend who games and works from home. He typically uses 3 different monitors, but now this 45" monitor replaces the need to have 3 different ones. He said that the set up was super easy and that it looks great while he plays games. The colors are more accurate and deeper/fuller on the LG compared to some of the other monitors he's tried out. And the curve of the monitor makes it more immersive. For the price point, it is expensive but he said worth the price.
A nice detail that I didn't know initially when I first bought it, were the lights at the back of the monitor. Makes the room ambience nice in the dark.
I would recommend this to a friend!
