The Total Gym is easy to setup and use. I have used it for 2 weeks now (every other day) and although I haven't seen any weight loss, I can feel my muscles toning up (I'm 75 years old).

I purchased the total gym about two weeks ago. I have cerebral palsy and I was looking to find a private, convenient way to work out and to build strength. I find that this is an excellent machine to do both. My only complaint is with the pulley system, persons with CP have issues with mobility and balance and I think that maybe somewhere in the future, TotalGym could create an extension where the pulleys can rest on something closer to the glide board to make it easier for those who cannot push themselves up to grab it. I find that to be the most difficult part when trying to do any exercises on my back. Also, if there was a mechanism to solely dismount off of the glideboard, that would be helpful as well because we lack the strength to sit up like able bodied people or to dismount properly without injury. Other than that I am a very satisfied customer.

Have owned several home gyms before our total gym. It has many more exercises than the others. Love the circuit training and not having to reconfigure the equipment and add weights.

Great quality and very stable for a 6ft 2in male weighing 190lbs. The glideboard is a bit short, however it works just fine for all of the included exercises in the training deck. I had one of the original TG's for about 20 years and decided to upgrade to the FIT. I love it and and use it everyday. I highly suggest this model.
