Having been an avid body builder during my younger years, I have tried to continue to work out, although sometimes infrequently, at local gyms. Finding the time to travel to and from, and then having to deal with others monopolizing the equipment, drove me to seek an alternative solution. I discovered the Total Gym while watching late night television and it seemed to be just what I was looking for. As a result, I must say, that making the decision to purchase a Total Gym was the best decision I could have made. Now, I workout in the comfort of my home and I have virtually every piece of equipment I need all rolled into one well engineered package. Transitioning from one exercise to another is seamless and with all the optional accessories, I can target every body part for a complete workout. It has also allowed my wife and I to work out together, something we never seemed to find the time to do before. When not in use, it easily folds up for storage and doesn't take up valuable floor space like other pieces of home gym equipment. Needless to say, we are totally sold on our Total Gym!

I purchased the Total Gym Fit on March 13, 2016. It arrived a few days later. I have never received a shipped item that was so well packed. Inside the main box virtually every part of the Fit was wrapped with some kind of protective material. The shipping and boxing were first rate. The Fit came with everything you need and more. It came with multiple videos (including a Start-Up video), a training deck, wall chart, AbCrunch accessory and Leg Pull accessory. The Start-Up video shows you everything you need to do to get started, from unboxing, to how to use the machine and all its accessories and even includes detailed instructions on your first workout routine. With the Start-Up video there is virtually no learning curve and from unboxing to actually doing your first workout you are up and going in less than an hour. The whole process could not be easier.
Before I purchased the Total Gym, I researched most of its competitors. The Total Gym products were clearly superior both in quality and ease of use. The Fit is solid and very smooth. Initially, I watched several videos on youtube.com on the Fit and the XLS models. Although the Fit was more expensive, it came packaged with optional accessories at no extra cost and was superior in build quality. The extra cost was well worth it. If you can afford the Fit, I would definitely buy it over the XLS. Also, I would only purchase a Total Gym from totalgymdirect.com. They have the best prices and customer service.
I have been using the Fit for a few weeks now. The machine works as advertised. It is like having a gym in your home. There are so many exercises that you can do that it's simply amazing. It is not boring to use and you can get a good workout in as little as 15 minutes. One of the main reasons I bought the Fit is because it easily accommodates my small bedroom. I did not want a large, bulky machine that needed to go into a large room or basement. The Fit is so compact that I leave it up all the time even though it folds up easily.
In conclusion, I am very happy with my Total Gym Fit. It is an excellent machine that is well made and easy to use. I highly recommend the Fit to anybody who wants a high quality home gym. Also, I recommend buying any Total Gym from .totalgymdirect.com only.

I use the Total Gym daily for 20 minutes. The first month my husband was amazed how much my rib cage had tighten up (being 58 I felt like my mid section was sprung out of control) My hips have freed up and I am back to running and surfing 3 days a week with out pain! It is life changing! Thank you!!
