Bought this a month ago, and have been doing some of the exercises. Haven't gotten all way thru yet, but the wife and I are enjoying the workouts. We are on the #1 out of the 12 heights and only thong is it is hard to get hand under the board to hook and unhook the pulley. I know it will get easier as the height inclines upward. Also the shipping packaging was expert done everything arrived safely and was easy to set up. Am impressed with the quality of the gym. I also like that we were able to get it on the payment plan which worked out nicely for us. Right now, just can't say enough good things about the Total Gym. From one US Air Force retiree, thanks!

This is an easy to use, versatile gym that is great for starting an exercise program. I'm able to begin slowly and build up to more exercise. At 71 years, I appreciate that I can get a complete workout without having to drive to a gym or change weights I don't use, or wait in line for a piece of equipment.

Excellent piece of equipment. No more paying to go somewhere else to lift weights. I am a 51 year old female. The TotalGym is quiet, versatile, and easy to set up and take down. I put it away after each use. Take the time to get to know the feel of setting it up and taking it down. After a couple of practice runs it becomes very easy. The 12 levels give a moderate user plenty of range and challenge.

Love the ease of setting it up. My only frustration is that I am in pretty good shape and to make the squats effective - I need to go out and buy plates.
I have been using it at a minimum 2 times a week - more if I can for the past 3 weeks. My upper back and shoulder pain are going away. I feel good. At my age 62, I needed to modify my weight lifting and this fits the bill for the next phase of my life. I am 4 stars happy with it.

I really like working out on the Total Gym Fit! I had trouble bumping up from a level 2 to a 3 without having to drop way down on my reps on my XLS, so I love the fact this has 2x as many levels.
Both are great machines, but the Fit edges out the XLS. Both are sturdy and easy to set up and have the same deck of exercise cards. Took some getting used to the wing attachment now being two pieces. The squat stand is now hard plastic with ridges, as opposed to the other that was a firm foam.
It comes with the ab crunch (whereas I I bought mine separately for the XLS). The parts are interchangeable between the two machines, which helps.
It sometimes feels like I am going to slide off the bottom of the board when changing positions, but if you didn't have an XLS, you won't notice the difference. I was used to the other board that was raised on both ends.
The Fit has a new safety feature. If the main pin fails, the backup pin is much thicker, and if you are above level 3, it has a bar that you can insert across the post that will prevent it from slamming all the way down.
Both are great machines, but I like my Fit more.
