had one (XL) over 15 years ago and loved it. Just got the XLS and is amazing. Highly reccommend it. Its like Pilates with weights. Streches whils strenthens. Anyone giving a bad review doesnt know how to use it.

This machine is a complete workout with easy to follow exercise cards to follow. My only comaint is that sometimes the movable pieces get jammed and you have to really work to get them loose which is a workout itself. All in all my whole family loves the machine and is thinking about purchasing some of the add on features. Would recommend to others.

Easy on joints and ease of use

I bought the "fit" about 4 years ago. Since that time I have add resistance bands and weights to the system. The added resistance really steps up the machine for bodybuilding. The machine is easy on your joints even when you add weights and resistance bands to it because of the roller board you lie on. Caution must be used getting off and on the machine especially as you add more additional sources of resistance. The only body part the machine is lacking in resistance is legs. You can only add so many weights and resistance bands to the machine. Resistance bands plus weights will work the other body parts fine, but if you add more resistance than your actual bodyweight, you will slide off the board and can't exercise, but for most people you can add more resistance than you will likely ever need except for legs. I like my total gym fit because it offers so many exercises and you can add additional resistance and get a good workout. I also train with free weights. When I get joint injuries, my total gym is here to keep me working out without further injurying the joints. For those who are not so into lots of resistance, this machine alone is so easy to use and can help adds years to your life by getting your blood moving. Exercise is the fountain of youth. This thing comes fully assembled and if you have a room to leave it up in, it is always handy for you to train. I leave mine really to use all the time. All it takes is 30 minutes or so to get a good workout if you work at it.
