My family and I look forward to using the Total Gym. However when I opened the box there were a couple of items broken and torn. It won't effect our workouts so I won't send anything back. But after paying what I have I did expect everything to be as it should be. Otherwise I'm very pleased with the purchase.

Love this product. After shattering my ankle and leg, I had tried several exercise machines, but the pain was unbearable. I finally decided I was worth the investment and bought the Total Gym. I have been able to work out every day because the pain I do experience is now tolerable. I feel like I got a huge part of my independence back. Hopefully my trim and fit body will come back in the process.

Everything I expected and more

I have looked at the Total Gym for years. I finally purchased the Total Gym Fit 3 weeks ago and am thrilled with it. It was easy to set up. There really is only one major step...extending and unfolding the upright from the glide board track. It helps to have another person to help with this step, but very doable alone. The hardest part of the initial setup was taking off all of the packing material. This machine was packed incredibly well.once set it was apparent how sturdy and well made the total gym is. The metal frame is built like a tank. The glide board floats up and down the metal track, the cables are sturdy and insulated. Hand grips are comfortable
There is a small learning curve. Learning how to smoothly move from one exercise to another requires learning how to safely get on and off the glide board while holding and positioning the cables(for those exercises using cables). Some of the exercises require unattaching the cable pulley that attaches to the underside of the glide board . Also there are attachments that are required for some of the exercises. All of these require some learning( repetition ) . By Day 3. I was moving rapidly through the exercises.
There are so many exercises and the machine comes with a deck of cards with 80 exercises and programs to follow. Also a large wall poster with all the exercises comes with it. There are also free video materials showing programs with professional trainers.
I was never a gym rat but in high school played sports. Because of family and career physical fitness fell by the wayside. The Total Gym is so easy to use and fits easily into my home office. The workout is amazing. It is easy to get a full and effective workout in 15 minutes. The apparatus materials are strong and feel durable.
I did get the Chuck Norris signature version of this model because it comes with a much larger foot platform for the leg exercises. Worth it.
I’m only 3weeks In but I’m thrilled so far . 5 stars.

I just received your fit plus. I love the new fit. Big improvement over my 1100. Wow this machine is a beast and great workout thank you total gym! I have been using my 1100 close to ten years still good just wanted to upgrade and get more out of my workout.

Total Gym Fit Is Above Beyond What I Expected!!!!

As I stated before: The best equipment in my workout room. Remove other equipment to make room for it. Also they have many workout programs to use on their site and others. I am now into my second week and I totally am feeling and already experiencing a change in my upper body. I had a double hip replacement so I am taking time with the squats. And because of that I realize I am needing use the taller pad... for a better alignment. My back and shoulders are already getting toner. I will take pictures in a month or two for a big reveal. I just turned 65 and this is the best machinge for me. My husband has bougt me another elliptical (my 3rd one thus far) and it is still too difficult for my hips. He replaced my spin bike with a recumbent... but it is not giving me the calorie burn I want. However, the Total Gym is effective and the impact upon my hip as I strengthen the muscles in the hip flexor area is low... and not extremely brutal like not my elliptical. Who knows after I get my hips strong again, I might use my elliptical. Anyway, this is the most effective exercise equipment we've ever purchased.

I had been thinking about the Total gym off and on for several years. I finally decided to pull the trigger a couple of months ago. I am really happy with the purchase. It let's me circuit train which is my preferred method of working out. You can do several exercise's from one position by changing your body and cable position. Most positions I do at least 3 exercise's. There are so many ways to hit all the muscles in your body. The only nit picks I have are sometimes it be a little clumsy grabbing the cables in the beginning but you get a better feel for it the longer you use it. Most people will be limited to squats and calf extensions one leg at a time. That doesn't mean you can't thigh quivering workouts. Over all I am very satisfied and would highly recommend.
