Bought about 5 weeks ago. Well engineered especially for a large person. Convenient to use and store in a closet. Improvements might include removable wheels at the foot deck holes and base lifting accessory to elevate the mounting about 12 to 18 inches above the floor.

Since I'm a female who just bought this at the age of 72, I wish you had a senior workout plan for those using this machine for the first time so we don't get discouraged and intimidated by the videos of much younger people working out.

I used to be active and fit, but a fall 16 yrs ago changed my life forever. My surgery wasn't very successful. I have Advanced Degenerative Disc Disease, awful muscle spasms, Sciatica, Bilateral Foraminal Narrowing and Spinal Canal Stenosis.
I ordered my Total Gym Fit late June/early July as an early anniversary gift for my husband and I.
After an extremely modified trial, I didn't think I would be able to use it and even considered returning my Total Gym FIT.
Long story short, fate smiled upon me and after watching the exercise videos and modifying what I'm able to do, I have been able to use it for about 10-15 minutes about 1-2 times a week.
Words cannot adequately express how good it feels to reclaim a part of me I lost so many years ago.
I'm still on the beginner's video and level 1. I like to use the wing attachment to invert. Level 1 but it feels good. I also use the wing attachment and grasp the handles (lying on my stomach) and let gravity stretch my body. Feels good to my back and spazzed out muscles.
I encourage anyone on the fence whether or not to try out this machine to go for it. Even if you use this 1-2 times a week like me, it's okay. Enjoy the journey. You can do this. If I can, literally, anyone can.
Now, the one thing that concerns me is the board can get off track if you slide to close the post. It worries me that the machine could become damaged. I do not know if this is normal, but being a fairly tall female, 5'9", I utilize nearly the entire length of the rails. I'm always mindful to not push all the way performing certain exercises.
Overall, I'm pleased with my Total Gym FIT.

I've had my total gym a little over a month. I went to see my Dr. this week and the first thing the nurse said was " you've lost weight!".
I'll be 69 this month. I've suffered with arthritis since 1980, and a bad back for 20 years, but I can use my total gym without pain because there is no stress on my joints.

It's has been a while since I have done any workout due to some back issues. My husband suggested this and I went with it thinking I will do what I can with it. Well, I am able to do a lot with it and I'm very happy. Glad I found something I could tolerate and enjoy. Looking forward to seeing the results in time.

I have a bad ankle full of arthritis and need knee replacement on my right knee, so it's hard for me to exercise and see improvements, however, the total gym is amazing and does not put pressure on my ankles or knees, and has already helped me gain more strength and with my weight loss goals. Hoping to have the results I want for myself and to reach my total goal in 2020!! Very happy I purchased this machine! It's Amazing!

Overall, it’s very well made and easy to use. It’s harder to fold up/down than I thought. It would be helpful if instructions came with it for folding/unfolding. They are available online, but good if in set-up instructions too. Been a great option for our family during COVID-19 while gyms are closed! We are pleased with the purchase and would definitely buy it again!

Absolutely the best home exercise equipment I've ever owned. My wife and I both have joint problems, my shoulders and her knees. The Total Gym is incredibly smooth and solid, it's non-impact exercises allow us to have a pain free workout experience. My only regret is not buying one sooner.
