I bought the Total Gym Fit in February 2015 and it has been the best workout I ever experience. I stop paying for gym membership since I felt that I was not getting the workouts my body needed. Also I got tired of changing machine's to workout different muscle groups.
I am a Personal Trainer and I can say this much you get results if you put forth effort. The resistance levels varies for each person. I personally am NOT trying to be a body builder. I am training my body to be more health fit. My favorite workout is Abs/Core Strengthing. I workout for 30 minutes a day 5 day a week and I have lost some weight. Believe me I have gain muscle mass. I could not be more pleased with my TGF. I hope this review helps.

I bought mine in early 2000's and have used it all these years and it's held up very well. I use to use free weights exclusively. The total gym has done wonders for me. Especially the older I get. I don't understand the negative reviews There really is not much of any assembly at all. For a home gym model it is very well built. I'm a building equipment mechanic. The Total Gym is as Chuck Norris and Christy Brinkly advertise,

I am 92 years old and I thought it was nothing else to do. I had been watching the commercial for quite some time and I see how chuck Norris is fit at his great age. so, I told my daughter to order The total Gym...I do little by little but it works for me..I feel great
