I purchased this gym for myself. I am a 53 year old woman that has been working out at the gym since I can remember. I purchased the total gym for an in between work out. I was not satisfied with it at all. It is bulky and very hard to get around. It was awkward to use. Hard to grab the handles while on the machine. I found it hard to store and I returned it. Definetely not worth the price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been using the Total gym for a month now, after having not worked out for several years, and am already feeling better. My entire family is using it and we range in ages from 54 years to 1 year. Yes my grandson likes to lay on it and push his self up and down using the foot board. My 11 year old grandson, who plays football, also loves using it to help him with his sports. My daughter, 31, is using it to become fit again after child birth. Lastly my son-in-law, 31, an EMT, is using it to get back in shape. We all are glad that we have purchased it!!! :D

I recently bought the total gym fit and its excellent! i have a back problem and its really helping me get my core stronger. the only thing is i wish it was easier to change height of the bench -- its difficult with a weak back.

I bought this a month ago and I’m really enjoying it. But the level adjustment pull pin is a bit difficult. It’s not that pulling the pin is difficult, but when you pull the pin and try to lift it it’s hard to pull it up. And I’m no weakling. I’m pretty strong. But I have to play games with it to adjust it. Once adjusted it’s very quiet and easy to use and works great. But I wish I had gotten the other model (the blue one in the videos) with the adjustment on the back instead of the pull pin. It looks much less complicated. I’m hoping it will get easier, but for now that part I don’t like.

This isn't quite what I had expected but it does work well. It takes some getting used to and time to switch items out fke different exercises. I do like the ease of the movements and how it is easy on the joints.

I am getting used to using the machine and find it to be all that its advertised to be. I get the upper and lower body work outs, the cardio while constantly working the abs. I gave a 4 star rating because the unit is very heavy in my opinion as I fold and store the unit after each use. It has gotten easier for me to fold and store but it is very heavy.
