It's been a year since the hurricane and I just stared working out on the Total Gym again (been alittle busy)and I just wanted to say that I am amazed at the construction of the unit. After being under 4 feet of salt water for a week and them buried in mud for a month or more I pulled it out, cleaned and oiled it and am now using it as if it just came out of the box. Most of the nuts and bolts are rusted but it glides perfectly.

I've recently recovered from a back fracture and my daughter is in final stages of recovering from foot surgery (she also suffers from Plantar Fasciitis). This equipment is perfect for us, with plenty of exercise options within our range of motion and strength capacity. We are both getting stronger and in better shape with each passing week. Love it!

Great Machine! I love my Total Gym and have been using it for a month now. It is the only home gym that I know of that allows you to do leg squats with proper form. I also like that it is easy on the joints. It is the perfect home gym for older adults. It does take some time to get used to mounting and dis-mounting but after two to three workouts it comes naturally. Bottom line, if you are young guy looking to bulk up and build lots of muscle this is probably not the gym for you since the resistance is limited to your body weight (although a weight bar can be purchased separately), but if you are looking for a good workout and tone your muscles this is the gym for you.

Cancelled my gym membership; set up Total Gym right behind my desk so that every time I get up from my desk I am reminded to do a set or two. It’s easy and convenient. 20-30 minutes each day no longer feels like a drag but something I enjoy doing now.

unpacking wasn't quite as easy as instructions said only because there are hidden packing straps that need to be cut. Also, it takes up more room then I thought(9'L), but it is built like a tank and works so smooth!
