I bought my Fit a couple of years ago. Did not do much as I made all the usual excuses - too busy, too tired, traveling, etc. etc. Just recently I got serious and got into a regular routine. Amazing how effective and easy this system is. Lost a bunch of weight and inches in the right places. Also, I saw a negative write up of how difficult it is to setup. Could not disagree more. Very easy to set up, especially in a confined space like the one I have. I wish this machine was around when I was at Sea -- USN (ret)

This is my favorite ever piece of exercise equipment. I am actually using it and not to hang clothes on. I have had it 3 weeks and have used it at least 10 times. It is easy to change out the height of the deck, disconnect the cables and add other pieces to it. I really enjoy the app I loaded onto my TV with the different workouts. As I am just starting out after many years of inactivity, i can keep the workouts light or as challenging as I can handle. I am so happy i purchased the Total Gym.

The weight bar is a nice add on if you are looking for advanced workouts but the higher level inclines offer great resistance. The circuit training aspect allows you to flip from one exercise to another. In 30 - 40 minutes - your entire body can get an efficient workout. I like to do back, biceps, and abs on Mondays and Thurdsdays and chest/legs/triceps on Tursday and Friday. I am 40 - have been a good athlete all my life and am down to my college playing weight in just 3 months. I went from 195# and I am down to 172! My percent body fat is down to 9%.
Pros: Quiet, Strengthens, Sturdy, Quick Set
Cons: Bulky

My fiancé and I are in our mid-fifties. Through our thirties and forties we worked in the plant business which kept us in shape with all the lifting, digging, walking etc. After fifty we both moved to desk jobs and keeping in shape actually became a difficult chore. We absolutely love the Total Gym FIT. Started tightening those old muscles up in no time. Can't wait to work out and have a tremendous boost in energy. Actually day dream about working out at my desk and can't wait to get home and use the Total Gym. Should have listened to Chuck 20 years ago!

Everything I was hoping for!

I bought the Total Gym FIT because this is what they had in the physical therapist's office. I am recovering from a back injury and the arthritis in my knees prevents me from being able to do a lot of exercises. I have been working out on the Total Gym FIT for about a month now---almost every day and already feel WAY better. It's easy to use and easy to adjust and move if I need to. It came fully assembled. All I had to do was just take the top off the box, stand it up and unfold. I leave it all the way down and up against the wall, moving it out from the wall when I'm ready to us it. We live in an apartment and it fits just fine. It fits in the space between the bottom of our King size bed and the wall. Everyone (our kids) can use it too. Great investment! :-) --the only bummer was (at no fault of Total Gym) that it was 100 lbs and the delivery guy needed my son to come help him carry it into the apartment. He should have had a heavy duty dollie to carry it on...not sure how he would have gotten in here if my son wasn't home.

Great for "seniors' and small spaces

I am 76 years old and throughout my life have done farious "workouts" from sports, weightlifting and the U.S. Marine Corps as well as seveeral martial arts. Some years ago was feeling "down", fat and laxy, knew I was out of shape and saw Chuck Norris on a TV special about Total Gym, I quickly got a Total Gym and got back to businessof getting healthy. I feel good. I have the Gym in my covered trailer and work out anywhere in any weather.
