This is the best piece of equipment that we have purchased. This is the first time I can say that I enjoy exercising. I actually had a membership at a gym here in Bermuda and since which I have cancelled it. What is also amazing is that my husband is also exercising and loving it. Although it isnt easy, and to repeat Todd "No pain No gain is so true. Personally I like when I hurt because it's working. I would recommend the Total Gym Fit to everyone. Thanks Total Gym

We've had our Total Gym for 2 weeks and the whole family is using it and loving it. Easy to use, convenient and doesn't leave you hurting afterwards- your feel your workout for sure so know it's working, but you're not hurting for 2 days after.

I have watched the Total Gym infomercials for decades and always thought it looked like a great piece of equipment. I finally purchased one and could not be more satisfied. This is truly better than a gym membership for me and my wife and far less expensive when you consider that with all the terrific DVD's and routines in the 'Training Deck' you really are getting several personal trainers along with the device. It is brilliantly designed, the action of the mechanisms are so simple and work so smoothly and let me tell you you can get an amazing workout no matter what your fitness level. Even the simple circuit routine detailed in the Start up video is a fantastic full body workout.... in about 20 minutes. This is truly one of the best purchases I have ever made, certainly the best fitness purchase.

I have tried lots of machines and also gyms in my lifetime, but this machine is great. I can use it almost every day, because the variety of moves it allows is very extensive. I am pretty strong for my age (nearly 70), am up to level 4 already. It is a very long footprint however, so you need quite a bit of space if you leave it set up.

I have been working out off and on for about 50 yrs with free weights and started practicing martial arts when I was in my 50's for 10 years. My wife wanted to work out as well but the free weights were a bit cumbersome for her as she is very petite. We decided on the Total Gym Fit as it seemed to fit both our needs time wise and health wise. She finds that she feels more energetic and can get up and down stairs so much easier. She is 66 yrs old. I find that I'm much more enthusiastic about working out as it seems so much more efficient and not as time consuming working out and/or changing exercises and routines as with free weights. We do it in our living room and since our home is small but it works just fine!

I think it is great overall especially the upper body workout that came with the machine. I feel that the lower body workout is not really effective even with the DVD for advanced - I just don't feel it and feel that I lost muscle when I replaced my Jari Love DVDs with Total Gym. I do like the abdomen 9 minute workout. I do wish the bench was a bit wider like the blue bench in the videos - seems more secure and has the lower edge for hooking the back foot on for lunges. GREAT for core - hope it will help my golf game!
