Ease of Setup and Quick Startup for New-bees is excellent. Was not sure how to setup an exercise program, but the exercise cards were easy to follow. In regards to setup of equipment after you took it out of the box it was already 99% ready to use.

every time i buy a Total Gym the Product ie the Exercise gets better ... i do Own the XLS Total Gym just now i also just Bought the New Signature Series FIT Model too ... i m a Big Guy 6 foot 260 n in condition ... i use the Position of Number 11 on the Fit which is Equivalent to 5 1/2 on the XLS .. the XLS doesn't have a 5 1/2 although i Modified My XLS so it does have a 5 1/2 ... i do not recommend Modifying a XLS cause simply said a 12 Position design using Half step's needs a Total Up-Grade to Perform Properly under Stress n b Safe ... so i do have something to compare the FIT too ... the FIT is wonderfully constructed and a Stronger Built-Up Total Gym ... i found that the Glide Board of the XLS is slightly Biggerr in Size n Heftier en construction ... i go kinda Fast at times pulling up n goin back down n i tend to tip side to side on the Signature Fit Glide Board ... i m Presently using the the XLS Glide Board on the FIT as it is ... " More " ... Stable ... a little Harder a Little Thicker n a Little Longer not by much though ... it es just enough for Me that it Help's Me stay on the Glide Board better at Faster Operation plus a Person may not of thought about it the XLS Glide Board es a little bit Heavier ... so the Weight difference makes the Full Power Requirement better n Smoother ... it's Help's to stablize My Exercising ... so i Lov the Total Gym idea n how i can even Merge the XLS with the Fit Signature Series ... which es even Better ... the FIT Glide Board es very Sporty n comfortable ... so it's all Good ... just for Me i stay on the Board better using the XLS Glide Board ... i do Leg raises as i m goin Up n down so i hav slight Body Weight shirting side to side in very small amounts ... just on a Narrow Moving Board that can b enough to cause a Persons Body to slowly creep to one side or the Other ... i might alternate Glide Boards to Gain a benefit from using the two designs ... Time well tell on these idea's ... Never the Less this places no Bearing on the Great design TotalGym put into the FIT Signature Series ... i'll buy the Next design if it has My needs in it ... i've always respect Chuck Norris so i think its Cool how he signed the FIT Signature series ... Thank You Total Gym ...

I'm 71 started with the total gym and I feel great. I can do this. A little sore the first day but kept going and now I can do all my reps. The total gym is good for all ages. The Doctor said it will help to keep my strength, trying to lose weight. I feel so much better than just sitting in the chair and watching the days pass by. I'm building my strength up and it takes so little time. Thank You so much for this Gym. my brother is 74 and has one also. I showed him how to jog on the gym so its not hard on the knees. I have been consistently working out with Select series since 1/2019. I have been doing the Challenge video 4 DAYS a week. I lost 21 pounds and lost inches and I am tone. Love my results. I am now 139 lbs and I am 5'4". I also walk for 40 minutes to an hour 3 days a week. I eat a healthy organic meals.
