[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a new coffee maker and wanted to add some pizazz to my kitchen. This coffee maker looks great and makes brewing coffee easy. My husband gets up very early so I like to program the timer to have the coffee ready for him when he wakes up. You can set the strength of the coffee which is great for us since we like to make the morning cup a little stronger. Cleaning is easy and we just love how the color looks in the kitchen.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This retro turquoise coffee maker looks great even in a modern kitchen, and the sleek design takes up a small footprint for a 12-cup machine. I have yet to try most of the different features, but brewing a standard cup this coffee maker does the job well and looks great doing it. I will add the 2-hr automatic shut-off is really handy to have.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the sleek modern design of the 50's style kitchen ware here. The blue is a nice touch to my kitchen counter marble . It was easy to set up and program to the time. My only thing with the time is maybe add a different light or system to go off to let u know whether u are in am or pm mode. That would be less confusing. Other than that I love the filter because its reusable .
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love everything about this coffee maker! Great quality. Brews 12 cups in no time. I really like the sneak a cup feature and the different strengths you can choose. I set the brew later every single night as it makes my mornings so much more easier!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Coffee maker a couple weeks ago. I have used it everyday since it arrived. The color is gorgeous. I use both the programmable features. The program allows me to have fresh coffee on those 5 am days.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I adore this gorgeous vintage coffee maker. The blue is such a rich beautiful color and the style gives a wonderful vintage touch to my kitchen. The features on it are amazing. I love that I can set it and forget it plus I can control the brew strength. The digital display for the time is a wonderful addition as well. It even came with a reusable plastic filter as well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee maker is so aesthetically pleasing in my kitchen and I absolutely love the fact that it has the permanent coffee filter so I don’t have to waste my money buying disposable ones.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been looking to upgrade my super basic coffee pot, and I loved the vintage retro look of this coffee pot, along with its additional functions. It was easy to set up, and I cleaned it as advised. However, there was a lingering “new plastic” smell even after two water runs, washing the pieces with soap and water, and two more water runs. I ended up also doing a baking soda/water solution run, followed two more water runs to help thoroughly rinse it out afterwards, along with another soap and water wash of the individual pieces. This did seem to finally help, even though it was still *slightly* noticeable. When I brewed my first batch of actual coffee, there was no Iingering plastic smell or scent in the coffee (which had been the case with the brewed water).
One odd thing that I really don’t love is that there are fingerprints on my carafe! They show up as condensation builds during brewing, and even after my many rinses and washes, they continue to appear. This makes me think that it’s an imprint in the product itself during production, rather than an oil-based fingerprint left during packaging. Although I don’t think it’s a sanitation concern, it’s a little unsettling seeing someone else’s fingerprints when I make coffee!
As for the features, the warming plate works well (although I like to generally avoid using it for optimum coffee taste), but the anti-drip feature “mostly” works. If you remove the carafe during brewing, it will interrupt the flow with enough time to fill your cup, but I usually still have a couple drips that splatter and burn on the warming plate. The built-in filter is a nice option and reduces paper usage from disposable filters. However, I did notice some fine grinds that made their way into my coffee. I did find the delayed brew easy to use and is a nice option to have your coffee already brewing for those busy mornings! As someone without a dedicated coffee scoop, I also appreciated the coffee scoop that was included!
I do like this coffee pot, but it isn’t extraordinary. The retro aesthetic is fabulous (although the “ghost fingers” in my carafe do detract a bit), and it performs well, but there is room for improvement.
