I purchased a Brother dual-tray printer expecting it to print both letter and legal size from a PDF containing mixed paper sizes—but it does not work as advertised. It only prints one size, completely defeating the purpose of a dual-tray printer.
After spending over 10 hours troubleshooting and contacting both Brother and Staples, I received zero resolution. Brother support provided instructions for the wrong printer. I was even told Adobe needed to be updated, so I purchased the latest version—only to have the same issue persist.
This has been a colossal waste of time and money. Brother, if you have a fix, provide it. Otherwise, stop misleading customers about the functionality of your dual-tray printers!

Best dual tray monochrome printer

This printer is a dream. It prints extremely fast with paper coming out on top so papers don’t fall on the floor. It’s very quiet also. Using Adobes free program, it automatically chooses the correct paper size needed, ie, legal to legal, letter to letter. No changing paper needed. I found inputting of my password took time but not troubling. It can print up to 18,000 pages using the 920UXXL toner and the drum lasts for 45,000 pages. A third tray can be added. But don’t forget to check the tray levels before printing large files. The only trouble is if you run out of paper in one tray, the printer will use the other tray.

You do not list the paper size for your printers so how are we supposed to know if it will print up to ledger size

No, the Brother HLL6210DWT is not compatible with ledger paper size. The compatible paper size for the Brother HLL6210DWT are: A4, Letter, B5 (JIS), A5, Executive, Legal, Mexico Legal, India Legal, Folio, 16K (195x270 mm), A4 Short (270mm Paper) Below is a link with the Brother HLL6210DWT specifications and Recommended paper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to test this printer with dual paper trays! It was packaging amazingly and was able to unpack it and set it up by myself. Super easy to connect through wifi, I've been printing so much with it since receiving it! I've been using it for business purposes as well as personal purposes. Used it to quickly put return address on a ton of envelopes as I normally just write them 🥴 it prints SOOOO fast like I wanna say 50 pages per minute. Most definitely recommend to anyone who does a lot of black&white printing.

Complete printer for the office!

Very fast, connects easily over wifi, and the quality of the printing is great. No smudges or areas of misprinting, also pretty quiet for the speed that it prints at. Definitely recommend for any person looking for a fast quiet printer for the office

Great business printer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we received this we immediately put it at my husbands business. He prints invoices and receipts for customers all day. Set up was very easy. The printer works wonderfully. No issues with loading trays or ink as of yet. Printing is fast and seamless. Will definitely continue using.
