Purchased this laptop to supplement our HP desktop that we’ve had for several years. Very pleased with the speed and ease of use and find ourselves using it more than our desktop. The configuration was spot on and the Ultra 5 doesn’t disappoint! I would strongly recommend the 1GB SSD vs the 512 SSD and go with the 16 GB of RAM, makes all the difference!

HP sent a review request though the computer is still new. It's ok, a couple areas of concern are the plastic hinges, also the computer needs to be opened to change the battery. Time will tell if/how these issues play out.

I love my new HP laptop. I wanted a large screen, but I don't do "gaming". I found this 17.3 inch laptop at a very reasonable price. The resolution is great and the keyboard is comfortable to use. This laptop had all of the specs that I was looking for and even more.

It's got everything I need. Large touchscreen and the 32 gig of ram is a pleasure to have especially when all I had previously was 8 gig. Effortless transfer of files. since HP backup recognized my backup on the old computer. Nice power on/off button on keyboard, Lots of new features including AI. I'm glad I waited for this one. Excellent sale over the holidays. I have been always using HP for all my computer needs and Im pretty happy with them.
