Light and fast. Only problem I have is adjusting settings in Windows 11. Not HP's fault. I've worked in Windows since the beginning. I've worked with MS-DOS. At 72 I don't have the patience to relearn a new system which should be getting easier to use.
I love this computer. It has all the features I need for what I use it for. I just needed a basic, fast, easy -to-use computer and this one fits the bill. My only complaint is that the power cord is on the left side, and the right side is where my outlet is. I am lefthanded and my mouse sometimes get caught on the cord. I do like using a mouse even though the touch pad works fine.
This is different from my regular HP laptop but I am getting used to it and I really like it. Love how quick it is, got a ton of storage. This should last me quite a while.
This is my 5th HP computer. '91 was a 386 SX-16 and then a few laptops over the years - the older laptop from '14 still works; that's impressive! The original battery is still alive...
What I don't like is the overly sensitive "rocker" as opposed to the older L/R buttons on the touch pad. Also there's something I've NEVER seen before...the up/down page ▲▼ buttons are wonky - some web pages scroll just fine and some "page up - page down", NOT scroll; that's a time eating pain.
It does boot fast though....wow! Windows 11 is NOT intuitive - 10 was easy to figure out in just a few hours..not HP's fault. Overall I'd buy another one.
