Backlight went out after 3 years of owning

The monitor is great but after almost 3 years of ownership the backlight went out from normal use. I bought the extended warranty, so i'm currently looking into a repair shop to see if it will be worth repairing. Good thing about the warranty is that if it costs more to repair than what i paid for it, they will cover the full cost of the item paid. Sucks is I need to go monitor shopping again. Every monitor i've bought has lasted until I've upgraded for a better one.. so the backlight should not be going out after 3 years of use. Otherwise I would be rating higher

You won't be disappointed

The monitor was packaged very well for safe shipping. I won't say that the assembly was simple... it wasn't. To make the unit sturdy an high quality, the stand and brackets must be carefully assembled (and it won't be simple for a novice). That said, I was impressed with the quality of everything and I don't think users will have too much trouble with the assembly (even the included wall-mounting bracket was high quality and cleverly designed). When connected to the PC, the correct resolution was immediately detected by the PC's video card and I was using the system immediately. The image quality is great and the value of this purchase is amazing. I would surely recommend to anyone who has the desk space to support it.

Perfect for my work

I use this for document editing, Powerpoint, Excel and rarely video editing. I have always used a two monitor setup and was skeptical that this would be any different or better. I was pleasantly surprised by how much better having one continuous screen is. I use this with an M1 Macbook Air and the HDR (when enabled) works great. The 144 Hz kicks in mostly when I do MacOS animations such as Expose or swiping between desktops. I don't game on the Macbook Air so I can't speak to gaming performance. For me this was an inexpensive way to get a decent widescreen monitor that has both a high refresh rate and HDR, I completely love it. The stand system is not compatible with using third party stands, but that's a minor complaint.

Doesn't work with Macbook Pro

I was told by the technical team on how to make this monitor work with my Macbook Pro and bought the proper cable and adapter and after hours of research and different configurations it never worked. My Macbook eventually was able to detect the external monitor, but the monitor never displayed anything. Only reason i didn't give it 1 star was that it is a very nicely designed monitor and the price is very good, but it needs to work with OSX if customers are told it does.
Thought what a great deal, first monitor worked a day before it had a dead row. Got it replaced (week down with nothing) and the new one comes out faded and washed out. Returned that one and almost 3 weeks later I'm still waiting for my refund.
Great monitor at a great price . I use it on call of duty and rocket league and it hits the mark on quality . The gameplay is superb and the refresh rate is above my normal use . Can't ask for more in those categories.
The screen does not show on the full size of the monitor. I can’t find any directions for proper settings and your 800 # doesn’t work. What settings should I be using?
